Student Experience

The Deputy Provost and Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs has responsibility for a broad range of academic units that are dedicated to supporting undergraduate and graduate student success. This includes providing strategic leadership in advising, high-impact student experiences, leadership and professional development opportunities for students, and an exploration of how time spent outside the classroom in extracurricular and co-curricular activities supports our goals in the areas of teaching and learning, research and scholarship, and impact on society.

University Seminars

For more than three decades, the University Seminar (USEM) program has provided an opportunity for undergraduate students to take unique seminar style courses in a variety of topics taught by faculty from any of the University’s twelve schools.
